Warranty Conditions

We would be more than happy to test (for hardware problems) any component purchased from us that is not working. If a product is returned for testing and is found to be faulty, it will be replaced as per our standard parts warranty. If the product is not found to be faulty, a charge of $30 per component will apply for labor.

Certain products are warranted by the original manufacturer. Please refer to the documentation that comes with your purchase to find out if this is the case.

Systems

We do not warrant the following with our systems:

  • End User error
  • Incorrectly configured software drivers
  • Incorrectly configured BIOS settings
  • Incorrectly configured hardware drivers
  • Physical Damage
  • Application Errors
  • Operating System problems not caused directly by hardware failure

 All Systems that are returned under warranty conditions will be returned to the customer in the condition they were in at time of delivery. Please note that all due care will be taken to attempt to preserve data if requested, although this may not be possible. 

Return of Goods

 Returning a system:

All Systems carry a Parts and Labour Return-to-Base warranty. 

This includes the System Unit (case + contents), Keyboard & Mouse.

The first step if you are having problems is to contact us via e-mail of telephone. We will assess your situation, and may be able to suggest some solutions to your problem. If you do need to return your system, please include any extras that came with your system, as well as a copy of your receipt. We cannot return your system to you quickly or configured correctly if we do not have the required software or hardware to allow us to adequately test your system.  No responsibility will be accepted for incorrect configuration of your system in these circumstances. 

 Applications:

No end user software support is offered with our systems. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any software they wish to use is compatible with the system they purchase. 

 Operating System:

Operating System problems are covered by your system warranty only if they are caused directly by hardware faults, and only if the Operating System was loaded by us at time of purchase.

Parts:

DVD-ROM/CD-RW Drives, Speakers, Printers, Scanners and other external devices carry a 12 Months Manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise specified.

All freight charges are the responsibility of the customer.

ASUS LCD policy

Due to the complex nature of the manufacturing process,
The LCD screen may have cosmetic defects that appear as bright, dark or color dots on the screen.
This does not impair the performance of the notebook.
There is a inspection specification for the RMA service.

Maximum 3/6/8 bright/dark/total dots

Maximum two pairs of adjacent bright dots
Maximum 3 bright dots within 15mm diameter
